excellent stay near major attractions and park views

During our stay, we found the spacious king room comfortable and well-renovated. Being just about 1 km from the National Ranching Heritage Center and only a 10-minute walk to Prairie Dog Town made our weekend city strolls even more enjoyable.

Despite the charming atmosphere and delicious sandwiches, the overall experience fell short. The furniture and decor appeared outdated, with visible wear and tear that detracted from the luxury feel. Service issues marred our stay, including cold food from the bar and cleanliness concerns in the bathroom area. Room comfort did not meet expectations, leading to a less enjoyable visit.

The Overton Hotel has a fantastic location with lovely views and friendly staff to match. However, the room could use more attention—there were cleanliness issues, and the air conditioning didn't quite keep up. Despite some drawbacks, it's a decent option overall.

This hotel was a well-suited match for a momentary pause in Lubbock with great value. The bar downstairs had fantastic service, and I enjoyed the drinks by the firepit. Make sure to check out the coffee shop for quick refreshments.

We really enjoyed the big bath towels and the comfy King room. The view of the stadium was awesome!
